Clinical Role

Join an established anesthesia team in Elko, Nevada, providing CRNA coverage for scheduled OR hours and call coverage. The facility is seeking 2 additional CRNAs to support 3 operating rooms and help provide call coverage.

The CRNA will work as a solo provider and provide anesthesia services for a broad range of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN, Urology, and Ophthalmology. Cath lab coverage is provided only when requested by the Cardiologist.

This opportunity offers guaranteed shift hours and the facility will consider providers covering 1–2 weeks per month if two CRNAs can be secured.

• Weekend call: Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed shift hours
• Providers may be considered for 1–2 weeks per month
• Call response time of 30 minutes required

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia coverage for scheduled OR cases
• Work as a solo CRNA
• Provide coverage for 3 operating rooms as part of the CRNA team
• Provide anesthesia for General Surgery cases
• Provide anesthesia for Orthopedic cases
• Provide anesthesia for GYN cases
• Provide anesthesia for Urology cases
• Provide anesthesia for Ophthalmology cases
• Provide Cath Lab anesthesia when requested by the Cardiologist
• Manage assigned and unassigned patients
• Provide overnight and weekend call coverage
• Respond to call within 30 minutes
• Coordinate patient care with the surgical and anesthesia teams

Support & Team

The CRNA will work with an established anesthesia team currently consisting of 2 CRNAs. The facility is seeking 2 additional CRNAs to support 3 operating rooms and provide additional call coverage.

The provider will practice as a solo CRNA and participate in the established call rotation.

Patient Volume

• Approximately 4–5 patients seen per shift
• Assigned and unassigned patients
• Call ratio of 1:3

Requirements

• Active Nevada CRNA license – Required
• Compact license accepted
• ACLS – Required
• BLS – Required
• PALS – Required
• Ability to practice as a solo CRNA
• Ability to provide scheduled OR coverage
• Ability to participate in overnight and weekend call
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call

Credentialing

An active Nevada license is required. Compact licenses are accepted.
