Job description

Kona Medical Consulting is looking for Behavior Analyst and/or Assistant Behavior Analyst, Annadale, VA location.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral health conditions.
  • Provide direct patient care using evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and monitor progress towards treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including special education teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the presence and severity of behavioral health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment results.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification required.
  • License in the state of VA
  • - Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other behavioral health conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation procedures for behavioral health conditions.
