The Systems Analyst position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.

As a Systems Analyst, essential responsibilities include:

  • Provide administration and support of assigned enterprise IT systems and applications.
  • Resolve support incidents escalated by lower support tiers and provide guidance to lower support tiers.
  • Communicate problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
  • Serve as a consultant to line of business managers and other stakeholders on the most efficient use of current applications.
  • Partner with business units to determine IT needs and requirements for new projects by providing technical guidance and liaising with IT resources.
  • Evaluate existing systems to determine current utilization and identify possible expansion of use within existing or additional business units.
  • Develop project plans for assigned projects and act as project manager ensuring that tasks are assigned, completed, and properly documented in accordance with Project Portfolio Management guidelines.
  • Assist business units in preparing and presenting business cases and proposed projects to Project Management Committee and/or IT Steering Committee.

  • Strong mastery of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and organization.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline driven environment.
  • Leadership skills to help lead and coach other IT resources.
