What is an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)?

An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a software application used by organizations to manage their recruitment and hiring processes. It helps automate tasks such as posting job openings, collecting and organizing resumes, tracking applicants through different stages, and communicating with candidates. ATS platforms are designed to streamline the hiring workflow, improve organization, and ensure compliance with hiring regulations. Many systems also include features like resume parsing, interview scheduling, and analytics to help employers make informed decisions.

Collaboration with IT and HR teams is crucial for troubleshooting issues and customizing the system to meet the organization's specific recruitment needs.
