Job description

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to support the end-to-end development of retail apparel products, from concept through production. This role partners closely with design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure products meet brand standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines.
Responsibilities
  • Support product development from tech pack creation to product readiness
  • Collaborate with designers, sourcing, and manufacturing partners
  • Oversee fabric selection, trims, color development, and fit approvals
  • Support timelines, costing, and production feasibility
  • Coordinate sample development, fittings, revisions, and approvals
  • Support vendor communication (domestic and overseas)
  • Troubleshoot production and design issues proactively

Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of apparel product development and/or design experience
  • Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with factories and vendors
  • Understanding of fabric performance, construction, and garment fit
  • Proficiency with PLM systems; Adobe Illustrator experience preferred
  • Pattern making experience a +
  • Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
