The Opportunity
We're seeking an Associate Manager, Production to play a critical role in bringing Taylor Stitch products to life. While experience in menswear is a plus, we're equally interested in candidates with strong apparel production expertise who are excited to contribute to a premium lifestyle brand committed to quality, craftsmanship, and responsible manufacturing.
Reporting to the Director of Production & Sourcing, you'll help manage the end-to-end production process across all product categories, ensuring our products are delivered on time, meet our quality standards, and align with our commitment to responsible manufacturing.
This role sits at the intersection of product creation, supply chain execution, and vendor management. You'll collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Planning, Operations, and our global network of factories and suppliers to keep products moving seamlessly from concept to customer.
If you're highly organized, solutions-oriented, and passionate about building exceptional products through strong partnerships and operational excellence, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Drive Production Execution
  • Manage seasonal production workflows from development handoff through final delivery.
  • Maintain production calendars, WIPs, and milestone tracking to ensure on-time launches.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for finished goods and production materials.
  • Monitor factory performance and production status, proactively identifying and resolving risks.
  • Partner with Operations and Logistics teams to support inventory flow and delivery requirements.
Manage Vendor & Supplier Relationships
  • Build strong relationships with factories, mills, trim suppliers, and production partners.
  • Coordinate production schedules, material readiness, and delivery expectations.
  • Support vendor performance management, including quality, responsiveness, and on-time delivery.
  • Help resolve production challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support Sourcing & Cost Management
  • Partner with the Director of Production & Sourcing on costing reviews and sourcing initiatives.
  • Track production costs, surcharges, and invoice accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality and margin goals.
Oversee Material Procurement
  • Coordinate procurement of fabrics, trims, labels, packaging, and other production materials.
  • Track supplier timelines and ensure materials are available to support production schedules.
  • Collaborate with mills and suppliers to mitigate shortages, delays, or quality concerns.
Champion Quality & Sustainability
  • Help ensure products meet approved specifications and construction standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support responsible sourcing, supplier compliance, and sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain.
  • Contribute to traceability and transparency efforts across our manufacturing network.
Improve Processes
  • Maintain production reporting, tracking tools, and operational documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility, communication, and execution across teams.
  • Support implementation of systems and workflows that enable scalable growth.
What We're Looking For
  • 4-6+ years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, supply chain, product development, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working with domestic and overseas factories and suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing, garment construction, materials, and production workflows.
  • Proven experience managing purchase orders, material procurement, and vendor communication.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
  • Proficiency with PLM, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and production tracking tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and responsible sourcing practices is a plus.
  • Experience within premium, lifestyle, or contemporary apparel brands is preferred.
  • Experience in menswear apparel is a plus, but not required.
Why Taylor Stitch?
You'll join a team that's passionate about building products the right way-thoughtfully, responsibly, and for the long term. This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on how premium apparel is sourced, produced, and delivered while working alongside people who care deeply about craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
If you're excited by the challenge of bringing exceptional products to market and helping shape a more responsible future for apparel, we'd love to hear from you.
