Apparel Technical Designer
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid: onsite Monday-Thursdays and can work remotely from home on Fridays)
Role Overview
We are seeking an Apparel Technical Designer for an on-site, hybrid role focused on the creation of men's and women's basketball uniforms. This position is for a contract opportunity. The successful candidate will join a direct team of technical designers and collaborate with a larger cross-functional team to bring apparel designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage technical packages (tech packs) from concept to production.
  • Lead and participate in fit sessions to ensure garments meet design, quality, and fit standards.
  • Create and refine patterns for apparel construction.
  • Ensure all aspects of garment construction are accurate and meet specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Manage timelines and prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical design or pattern engineering role is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pattern creation, tech pack development, garment construction, and conducting fit sessions is necessary. Experience with CLO and Adobe Illustrator is also required.
Soft Skills: The role demands strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with PCX, Miro, or Optitex is considered an advantage.
