Job description

Senior Marketing Specialist

The Senior Marketing Specialist serves as the primary owner of marketing governance, content oversight, and marketing process management for the department. This role is responsible for ensuring all marketing materials meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, strategic objectives, and quality expectations through consistent review, approval, coordination, and ongoing management of marketing workflows. In addition, the Senior Marketing Specialist independently coordinates and executes marketing projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery of initiatives on time and within established guidelines.

Essential Functions:

  • Acts as the primary owner responsible for oversight, review, and management of all team marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards, effectiveness of marketing tactics, and alignment with established marketing goals and the bank's overall strategic plan.
  • Work closely with team members to provide constructive feedback on projects, monitor project status, and help ensure initiatives stay aligned with priorities, timelines, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives to reach the desired target audience through appropriate channels.
  • Lead, curate and produce video content that promotes and enhances our brand to both internal and external audiences such as client stories, product marketing, internal company announcements, culture promotion, etc.
  • Assist with planning and execution of external client events and internal employee events.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and communications with Compliance to ensure adherence with current compliance regulations.
  • Participate in production of sales presentations such as requests for proposals, slide decks, etc.
  • Provide support for growth of all social media.
  • Prepare and manage the distribution of client and employee gifts throughout the year.
  • Maintain the bank's website including news alerts, marketing campaigns and promotions, content and design updates and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Coordinate with the enterprise marketing team on website navigation changes; page management; and accessibility, regulatory and disclosure standards and requirements.
  • Manage the vendor relationship and inventory for corporate apparel and promotional items for employees, general marketing, client gifts and events.
  • Assists with Apple Developer and Google Play applications in relation to mobile app updates and troubleshooting app disruption and updates with technology.
  • Maintain and organize files of supporting documentation to assist with yearly budget tracking.
  • Coordinate client mailings with external vendors. Create and manage mailing lists, tracking and management of mailing projects and results.
  • Oversee Google reviews and take appropriate action when received.
  • Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.
  • Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company's mission, vision and values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of marketing experience including traditional, digital, and social media
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content creation; experience with content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, Google Ads, market research analysis, other digital marketing efforts a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of HTML for website editing is also required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
  • May be required to work after-hours, including weekends on a limited basis.
  • Some travel to other bank locations may be required.
