Job Description:
Compensation
$120,000-$125,000 Plus Benefits including 401k, Health, Dental, and Vision. Plus company vehicle with gas card. Relocation assistance is offered for individuals requiring relocation.
Job Summary
Assume responsibility for the overall sales and marketing strategy for the Asphalt Line of Business.
Main Responsibilities
  • Implement the Regional sales strategies; uphold corporate standards, drive new sales, increase market share, and profits.
  • Provide management and leadership for the sales staff, perform regular performance reviews, and develop stretch performance and development goals.
  • Interact regularly with operations and other lines of business to be aware of any internal/external conditions that may impact sakes and/or the customer.
  • Continually evaluate the market, maintain awareness of the competitive environment and profitable status of each account.
  • Create and maintain statistical market data and overall market intelligence for the group through present and future market results, customer performance and accurate forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the regional customer base and prepare action plans to convert sales prospects into new accounts.
  • Conduct presentations and discussions to promote our products and services.
  • Conduct visits to ongoing projects to understand product applications and to help in developing strong customer relationships.
  • Participate in local marketing events.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns should any arise.
  • Travel extensively within the region and as necessary to support and foster customer relationships.
  • Generate monthly sales forecasts and collaborate with operations personnel to balance sales, production, and inventory.
  • Create annual sales budget and direct sales team activities to meet or exceed budget.
  • Create annual commercial action plan including actions for key accounts.
  • Formulate a pricing strategy to maximize margin and lead the sales team to implement the strategy.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage and direct sales team activity and customer interaction.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree; and five or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills
  • Experience in developing and managing sales teams.
  • Asphalt and/or Aggregate Sales experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong math, mechanical and computer skills with problem solving ability.
  • Advanced Level MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with CRM programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with high level of self-confidence and energy.
