Job description

Every road, foundation, and structure in your community starts with concrete — and every great project starts with the right partnership. As a Sales Representative at SRM Concrete, you'll be the person who makes that connection happen. You'll help customers bring their projects to life while building a career with real momentum behind it.

You'll own your territory, grow your book of business, and serve as the go-to resource for customers who need a concrete supplier they can count on. This is an outside sales role with real autonomy, real impact, and real reward for results.

  • Find and Win New Business: Get out in your market, identify opportunities, build your pipeline, and close deals that fuel growth — for your customers and for SRM.
  • Be the Expert Your Customers Trust: Learn their projects inside and out. Understand their specs, timelines, and challenges so you can deliver solutions — not just quotes.
  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: From first conversation to signed contract to successful delivery, you're the driving force behind every deal and every satisfied customer.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Partner with operations, dispatch, quality control, and billing to make sure every load hits the mark — on time and on spec.
  • Stay Sharp and Stay Organized: Use CRM tools to manage your pipeline, track performance against targets, and keep your territory running efficiently.
  • Represent SRM in the Field: Show up at job sites, industry events, and customer locations as a professional who stands behind the product and the company name.

  • Closers with character. You're driven to hit your numbers, but you do it by earning trust and delivering on your word.
  • Self-starters. You don't wait to be told what to do — you see an opportunity and you go after it.
  • Relationship builders. Contractors and project managers want to work with you because you make their jobs easier.
  • Problem solvers. When a project hits a snag, you step up with a solution — not an excuse.
  • Learners. Whether it's mix designs, market trends, or customer needs, you're always sharpening your edge.
  • B2B or outside sales experience (construction or building materials industry is a strong plus)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfort with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital tools
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to job sites and customer locations
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively across departments
