Essential duties/responsibilities:
Customer Development & Relationship Management:
Proactively identify and engage new and existing customers to promote solutions.
โ€ข Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
โ€ข Provide consultative guidance on equipment selection based on customer needs.
Sales Execution:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed equipment sales revenue targets.
โ€ข Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently.
โ€ข Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.
Market & Territory Management:
Manage an assigned sales territory to maximize sales penetration.
โ€ข Research market trends, competitor activities, and customers need to identify growth opportunities.
โ€ข Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to represent Excel Equipment.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and potential rental transaction opportunities in the sales management software program.
