Excel Equipment, Virginia's premier CASE construction equipment dealer, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join their Suffolk, VA team.

Essential duties/responsibilities:
Customer Development & Relationship Management:
Proactively identify and engage new and existing customers to promote solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
• Provide consultative guidance on equipment selection based on customer needs.
Sales Execution:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed equipment sales revenue targets.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.
Market & Territory Management:
Manage an assigned sales territory to maximize sales penetration.
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and customers need to identify growth opportunities.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to represent Excel Equipment.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and potential rental transaction opportunities in the sales management software program.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and sales agreements.
