Digital Media & Advertising Strategist

At Certified Angus Beef®, we're looking for a digital strategist who connects big-picture thinking with hands-on execution across platforms, partners, and campaigns. If you thrive on shaping strategy, building and optimizing performance driven campaigns, and using data to sharpen creative ideas, keep reading. In this role, you'll help define and execute the brand's digital approach by working closely with creative, communications, web, and marketing teams to develop paid campaigns that expand awareness, deepen engagement, and drive results. One day you might be building or optimizing a paid media campaign for a partner. The next, you're helping bring a brand initiative to life across social, web, or other digital channels. No two days look the same, and that's exactly how digital should be.

Essential Functions:
  • Digital strategy. Recommend and work within the team to set digital strategy across platforms to maximize exposure and engagement for the brand and its partners. Areas include, but are not limited to, social, web, YouTube.
  • Digital advertising. Serve as the brand's digital media strategist and buyer, advising on platforms and campaign development that best align with brand and partner goals. Plan and manage paid digital buys and campaigns. Purchase, build, launch and monitor campaigns, reporting on effectiveness and maximizing the value of campaigns with retail and foodservice partners. Experience is required in Google ads and social platforms.
  • Digital analysis. Work with the team to establish benchmarks and metrics for digital campaigns and initiatives within the brand's digital ecosystem. Evaluate against them and provide strategic direction for paid, owned and shared media. Develop a communication plan for sharing success and status with the marketing and sales team.
  • Campaign maximization. Support company marketing events and initiatives with creative digital media plans that help secure and grow loyalist audience, connect company activities with the appropriate channel, message and audience.
  • Search and Answer Engine understanding. Work across the team to keep SEO, AEO and GEO at the forefront of digital marketing, advertising and communication efforts.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, advertising or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in digital advertising

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Experience with SEO and AEO, website analytics, social media platforms, and able to learn new software and skills quickly
  • Experience developing and executing paid media campaigns on major social and digital platforms - preferably for a consumer brand
  • Experience working within creative teams with the ability to manage internal relationships as well as agency collaboration on advertising projects
  • Solid implementation skills with attention to detail and good with follow up with extended team(s)
  • Ability to research, analyze, and draw conclusions about content based on open, click rates and other indicators
  • Must be comfortable working under pressure, deadline-oriented, and able to deliver creative, targeted content on or ahead of schedule
  • Must be comfortable serving as an expert, and being a consultant on digital advertising platforms, strategies and best practices needed to achieve core goals
  • Additive skills: familiarity and work with CRMs to support email marketing strategy. AI experience and heightened curiosity in an ever-evolving digital space.
