Partner with the best

As an Administrative Assistant you will provide support to three Vice Presidents within CTG. This includes handling global calendars, travel schedules, expense reporting and managing internal functional events. You will make proactive decisions in a changeable and dynamic environment.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administrative and organizational support (extensive calendar management, global travel, expenses)

  • Carrying out the task-in-hand thoroughly and with accuracy, working with consistent high-quality of attention to detail

  • Creating procurement requests and purchase orders and receiving goods within multiple internal systems

  • Creating, augmenting, and circulating reports, presentations, worksheets, and charts using Microsoft & Google Suites

  • Partnering with administrative staff across our business in the orchestration of meetings, report generation and projects

  • Partnering with the IT, Finance and other teams in communicating requests, feedback, and issues, as necessary

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have +5 years of relevant experience in an Administrative role and a High School / Bachelor's degree.

  • Have excellent ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a busy environment, handling scheduling demands and conflicts that change rapidly

  • Display a good aptitude for dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty through creative problem solving

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be a collaborative team member

  • Be comfortable communicating in a wide variety of formats: chat, email, video conference, phone, etc

  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools such as Outlook, Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides

There are occasions where this role will require your presence in a local Akamai office. Although infrequent, applicants should be aware that limited office attendance will be required.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $65,700 - $118,300/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
