Administrative & Accounting Assistant
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TDL Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join a busy nonprofit organization in Fairbanks. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with accounting support while contributing to an organization that serves the local community.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative environment. In addition to performing accurate data entry and supporting daily bookkeeping functions, you'll assist with office operations, grant administration, community outreach, and executive support while helping the organization achieve its mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry while maintaining financial and administrative records
  • Support day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, cash handling, and payroll
  • Assist with grants, contracts, and financial recordkeeping
  • Perform light human resources and administrative support duties
  • Coordinate incoming mail and track required state filings
  • Assist with community outreach, investor relations, and fundraising initiatives
  • Provide administrative and executive support to the CEO
  • Complete additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of administrative and bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and QuickBooks Online
  • Experience with data entry while maintaining accurate financial records
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in a nonprofit environment is a plus
  • Graphic design or marketing experience is a plus but not required
  • Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
  • Must support a drug-free work environment
