Spring Hills Lake Mary is a vibrant senior living community dedicated to providing an enriching and joyful experience for our residents. We're looking for a caring, energetic Activities Assistant to help us create memorable moments and foster a warm, welcoming environment.
    About the Role:
    As an Activities Assistant, you will work closely with our Director of Activities to design, coordinate, and implement engaging recreational and educational programs. Your efforts will enhance residents' well-being, promote social interaction, and ensure they enjoy a high quality of life. Plus, you'll help coordinate transportation for outings and appointments, ensuring safety and comfort every step of the way.
    What You'll Do:
    • Assist in planning and executing diverse activities tailored to residents' interests
    • Conduct and update activity assessments, documenting interactions in compliance with regulations
    • Participate in resident care conferences to support personalized engagement
    • Organize indoor and outdoor events, including evening and weekend activities
    • Provide safe transportation for residents to appointments and outings
    • Schedule and supervise volunteers to enrich activity programming
    • Maintain accurate records of participation and manage activity supplies
