Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of Group Sales Manager experience in a high-end full-service hotel/resort
  • Proven track record for anticipating and following through on leads to maximize sales
  • Superior sales skills and ability to build and maintain professional business relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to travel

Job Responsibilities:


As the Director of National Accounts, your primary task will be to sell properties to our group clients whilst exceeding room night/revenue objectives. You will be working nationwide to secure the most profitable business for our properties. This includes:

  • Directly contacting businesses/organizations in defined geographic or market areas
  • Developing new business opportunities and managing current accounts
  • Research, negotiation, and response to incoming group requests
  • Planning and executing sales trips to feeder cities, trade shows, and conducting property tours
  • Working closely with other departments and providing detailed client information
  • Preparing accurate proposals, cost estimates, and contracts
  • Ensuring client satisfaction with the product and service.
