Director, Global Strategic Marketing Data Centers & Global Accounts

As the Director, Global Strategic Marketing Data Centers & Global Accounts, you will lead the global marketing strategy supporting Wesco's Data Center business, Global Accounts organization, and Communications & Security Solutions (CSS) business across the United States and Canada. This highly visible leadership role partners closely with executive sales leadership, strategic technology partners, and regional marketing teams across EMEA, APAC, and CALA to identify growth opportunities, develop integrated go-to-market strategies, and deliver measurable business results.

This position requires a strategic B2B technology marketing leader who thrives in a highly matrixed global organization, builds strong executive relationships, influences without direct authority, and translates business priorities into integrated marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and market leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide global marketing leadership supporting Wesco's Data Center business, Global Accounts organization, and Communications & Security Solutions (CSS) business across the United States and Canada.
  • Serve as the marketing leader partnering with executive sales leadership and strategic technology partners to identify growth opportunities, develop integrated go-to-market strategies, build high-impact marketing programs, and accelerate business performance.
  • Partner closely with the broader marketing organization, supplier relations and strategic technology partners to develop and execute joint marketing strategies that strengthen partner engagement, increase market awareness, and drive mutual business growth.
  • Develop and execute integrated global marketing programs including demand generation, sales enablement, account-based marketing (ABM), digital marketing, customer engagement initiatives, executive thought leadership, content marketing, events, and strategic campaigns.
  • Provide strategic leadership across Wesco's global marketing organization by collaborating with regional marketing teams across EMEA, APAC, and CALA to align priorities, share best practices, and execute globally consistent marketing initiatives that support regional business objectives.
  • Influence marketing strategy across multiple global regions without direct authority, aligning executive stakeholders around shared business priorities while ensuring consistent execution across international markets.
  • Align marketing investments with strategic business priorities while measuring performance through pipeline influence, customer engagement, campaign effectiveness, marketing ROI, and overall business impact.
  • Develop dashboards and marketing analytics (business insights) to optimize marketing effectiveness and support data-driven decision making.
  • Manage partners, marketing budgets, external resources, and strategic initiatives to maximize business performance and operational excellence.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing marketing professionals while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience with increasing strategic leadership responsibility.
  • 5+ years of experience leading integrated marketing programs within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing global go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Experience partnering with executive sales leadership, Supplier Relations, and strategic technology partners to develop business growth initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business units and geographic regions without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication, strategic planning, organizational leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies, and external business partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience measuring marketing performance, business outcomes, and return on marketing investment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience marketing enterprise technology solutions including Data Centers, digital infrastructure, networking, connectivity, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, physical security, industrial technology, or other B2B technology markets.
  • Experience supporting Global Accounts, enterprise sales organizations, or strategic customer programs.
  • Experience working with strategic technology partners to develop integrated marketing initiatives and accelerate business growth.
  • Experience leading global marketing initiatives across North America, EMEA, APAC, and CALA.

Compensation Details $139,693 - $244,463 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
