Job description

Job Summary:

Luxury residential property management company is looking to fill an Overnight Doorperson position in Manhattan. The ideal candidate is someone who has prior building experience, has a professional demeanor, and can provide exceptional hospitality service. Experience using BuildingLink is a plus. Candidates must be able to work the overnight shift, Thursday - Monday evenings.


Job specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming residents and guests in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Screen visitors and deliveries
  • Receive and log packages
  • Maintaining a tidy front desk area
  • Arranging taxis/car service as requested
  • Stays alert and undistracted to provide full attention to entrances, exits and security systems
  • Liaise with building management and maintenance staff to respond to emergencies


Basic Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
  • Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Perform quality and quantity duties as expected for position.
  • Complete company required training courses as assigned.


Basic Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Able to read and observe surroundings.
  • Able to physically perform duties at the speed, mobility and force necessary.
  • Execute tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform responsibilities with honesty and integrity.
  • Maintain a professional level of stress tolerance.
  • Possess ability to adapt to changing environment.
