General Accountant / Bookkeeper
Pay Rate  $25 - $30/hour DOE
Schedule: 7am - 4pm, M-F
Location: Pinehurst, TX 77362
A growing construction company in Pinehurst, TX is looking for a reliable General Accountant / Bookkeeper. You will manage daily financial operations, track project costs, and keep our books accurate. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks experience. Understanding of the construction industry and bilingual Spanish/ English are a plus. 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and maintain the general ledger.
  • Process weekly payroll for field crew and office staff.
  • Create and send accurate client invoices based on project milestones.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and vendor accounts.
  • Track project costs, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Prepare weekly financial reports for company management. 


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in construction.
  • High proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Experience with payroll processing and local/state payroll taxes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • An understanding of construction accounting concepts is a plus (job costing etc).
  • Bilingual Spanish / English is preferred, but not required.
