Sales & Account Manager - Packaging

Location: US, Homebased with travel
Salary: up to 140,000 car bonus

I am supporting a leading manufacturer and supplier of paper, plastic, and reusable bags, specialising in consumables supply chain management for major retailers across the market. Known for commitment to sustainability, innovation, and customized packaging solutions, they continue to deliver high-quality products and long-term value to our clients.

They are currently seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales & Accounts Manager to join the team to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong client partnerships while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key client accounts within a range of sectors including distributor, grocery stores, food packer processer and major retailers.             
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities from new customers, while expanding the overall customer base across both direct retailer and distributor.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and retail partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and market outreach
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Coordinate internally with sourcing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver client solutions
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
  • Resolve client issues efficiently while maintaining service excellence
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management
