** Location:** 11512 El Camino Real, Suite 100, San Diego, CA; in-office

** Classification:** Full-time, NonExempt

Summary / Job Objective: Client account onboarding is an important and instrumental part of our operations since it serves as one of the first opportunities to make an impression on our financial advisors. Our goal and mission is to ensure the very best customer experience through operational excellence and leveraging the abilities of our hard-working people on our service-oriented team. We work proactively in partnership with our Marketing, Compensation, and Compliance teams to ensure transparency around our processes and promote efficient and smooth end-to-end onboarding of client accounts

Primary Responsibilities:

· Primary focus on timely and accurate processing of submissions in the Accounts review queue

· Answer financial advisor phone calls to the Accounts line

· Support timely and accurate account processing by working closely within our Compliance team to resolve issues and open new accounts in accordance with our service levels

· Support brokerage account opening and maintenance at NFS

· Keep team management informed of processing issues and red flags

· Perform tasks relating to account maintenance and new account operational processes

· Manage and fulfill internal projects or other individual tasks as delegated

· Embrace our culture of continuous improvement by identifying and participating in areas of opportunity for improvement in our account services process

Qualifications:

· Previous broker dealer/ RIA experience preferred

· Securities licensing preferred or the ability to obtain with 180 days of employment

· Demonstrated client relationship management and service

· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Windows

· Salesforce experience preferred

· Prior operational/back office, customer service or related experiences a plus

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication

· Ability to multitask and be a proactive team player

· Proven organizational and prioritization skills

· Detail oriented with an ability to think beyond the scope of the task.

· Willing and ready to communicate with reps via phone and email.

· Must be determined, passionate and adaptable.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation (based on experience)

  • Annual Base Salary - $60,000 - $65,000
  • This is a NonExempt position
  • Annual performance bonus target: 5%
