Play a key role in driving growth within the Indigenous agriculture and agri-food sector in Canada. As a Senior Relationship Management Associate, you’ll be part of a remote sales team working closely with Senior Relationship Managers, First Nations, Metis Settlements, community members and external partners to deliver financing and advising solutions for complex portfolios. You’ll support Senior Relationship Managers in managing customer accounts, strengthening relationships, and delivering a seamless customer experience. You’ll also identify opportunities and contribute to business growth through proactive relationship management. About 25% of your time will be dedicated to team administration tasks, including target and portfolio reporting, managing sponsorship and operating budgets, and developing marketing strategies.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with Senior Relationship Managers to build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and stakeholders

  • Support relationship management by identifying customer needs and contributing to tailored solutions

  • Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries, responding promptly while identifying potential sales opportunities

  • Deliver a strong customer experience by managing requests efficiently and adding value in each interaction

  • Attend customer meetings and marketing events to strengthen partnerships and promote FCC

  • Support prospecting activities and collaborate with the sales team to prioritize actions that drive business growth

What you’ll bring to the team Required Qualifications:

• A degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in financial services, lending, or a related customer-facing role
• Strong knowledge of relationship management principles and customer service practices
• Solid understanding of lending environments and financial services
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and professional partners
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify opportunities and contribute to sales growth through customer interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting complex customer portfolios in agriculture or agri-food
• Familiarity with FCC lending products and services
• Experience working with centres of influence and external business partners
• Exposure to sales support or account management in a financial institution
