You are:

The Client Account Management Associate Director provides day-to-day management of client relationships and strategic direction on all aspects of the account, articulating human brand experience strategies and briefs to the client and multi-disciplinary teams. Understand client's business landscape and identify complexity.

The work:

  • Client Service
    • Responsible for the day-to-day ownership, development and nurturing of client relationships
    • Responsible for using your knowledge of key client challenges to seek new opportunities for increased revenue on your piece(s) of business, proactively driving these internally and presenting them to the client
    • Be the voice of the client within the agency and the voice of the agency to the client, and mediate between the two to get to the most effective outcome
    • Responsible for managing up to your bl/mp in order to keep them sufficiently informed on the day-to-day of the account or of any issues or opportunities
    • Ensure the briefs, work and team are thinking in an integrated way
    • Must maintain a high level of knowledge of the client's business
  • Creative & Strategic
    • Be an integral part of the development of strategic and creative output, attending all key meetings and ensuring required actions are done by you or your team
    • Pressure test creative briefs and work against the client's needs at every stage of a campaign's lifecycle
    • Be a strategic partner to your planner on the client business
    • Check creative output for alignment to the client's business objectives and ensure this is key in the presentation of that work
    • Be responsible for thinking outside the box and bringing insightful and relevant info to the development
    • Lead the presentation of creative work and rationale for said work
    • Attend all research where possible and ensure you are present at all debriefs

Content Automation and GenAI - Consulting and Delivery

  • Have a conceptual understanding of GenAI tools and automation within the content ecosystem of technologies
  • Evaluate and differentiate between major platforms and tools (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, M365 Copilot, Writer, FireFly, ChatGPT, Adobe Workfront, AEM, etc).
  • Quickly research and assess emerging AI tools and propose the right solution based on client needs, use cases, data considerations, and constraints.
  • Translate AI and GenAI concepts into clear, clientfriendly language; educate stakeholders on what's possible, what's practical, and what's required.
  • Lead and supportdeliveryofGenAI proof of concepts (POCs), prototypes, and pilot programs.
  • Stay ahead of fastmoving trends in AI, content technologies, and nextgen marketing, ensuring the team and clients benefit from emerging innovations.
  • Mobilize appropriate resources
    • Support sales opportunities and ensure the feasibility of the proposed solutions and delivery of the solution by leveraging Accenture's full capabilities
    • Improve client and customer relationships working with client account and account management team leadership
  • Plan, deliver and execute project(s) and program(s)
    • Ensure execution of delivery work across one or more clients or portfolios, leading service delivery strategy across all locations where the services are provided (e.g., client-site, delivery center)
    • Address performance issues across the client(s)/portfolio(s); create the operational approach and implements continuous improvement
    • Implement standard SLA commitments and other financial/operational metrics for client(s)/portfolio(s)
    • Support the achievement of contract controllable income (CCI) targets, as well as the achievement of cost-to-serve targets; deliver efficiencies through standard processes and synergies
    • Manage recruiting, staffing, people engagement, pyramid, mix, utilization, cost-to-serve and capacity of service delivery staff to optimize balance between cost and delivery targets
  • Team Management
    • Responsible for managing, developing and the day-to-day pastoral care of your account team
    • Ensure your team are pinned down on the day-to-day basics. Ultimately accountable for:
      • The effective & organized management of client feedback to agency, and creative/strategic push back to client
      • Managing the client from briefing, strategy, creative to execution & evaluation of the campaign
      • All client meetings: ensure agendas are issued and accurate contact reports are produced
      • Weekly status meetings (both client & internal)
      • Ensuring all client meetings (including calls) have a follow-up contact report
      • Ensuring the highest quality and standard of all deliverables

Here's what you'll need:

Minimum 10 years of experience in account management, account planning, advertising, communications or marketing

Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing agency or client-side experience managing complex relationships and delivering multi-channel experiences

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a matrix team environment delivering campaigns that could include CRM, communications, content marketing, cross-channel marketing programs including web development, mobile products, social

Bonus points if:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

At least 9 years of digital marketing agency or client-side experience managing complex relationships

Solid understanding of creative and production processes across channels

CRM expertise and proficient understanding of how to integrate CRM into emerging channels

Strong ability to understand insights and turn them into strategic plans

Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to inspire and lead teams by setting forth a vision for the account

Ability to negotiate SOWs on behalf of the agency and manage scope with client

Must possess ability to translate vision into tactical steps within a project

Experience or category knowledge for assigned client preferred
