As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Belle Glade, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Professional at a government location, you will manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points by verifying identification, checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, public areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Assist with maintaining access-related records, issuing and collecting visitor passes or credentials, and communicating access restrictions to visitors and personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
