Consultant / Senior Consultant

Our client, a rapidly expanding global accounting advisory firm, is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its growing team. Our client has a proven track record of partnering with manufacturing, software, technology, biotech, and consumer products clients.

Working closely with your client's internal team, the Consultant / Senior Consultant will work on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, developing and managing client relationships, and business development.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2+ years experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
• Bachelors in Accounting
• CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience will be considered instead of an Accounting degree
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP, SEC reporting, etc)
• Enjoy being client-facing and proactive in identifying client needs
• Have a consultative mindset and are a problem-solver

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant you will:

• Have a "hands-on" client approach
• Own projects from start to finish
• Work on a variety of projects within many industries
• Enjoy the flexibility of office/remote/client site work locations

On a typical engagement, you will:

• Prepare operational due diligence for complex transactions - IPOs, acquisitions and divestitures, etc.
• Preparation of SEC and regulatory requirements - 10Ks, 10Qs, S-1, S-4 filings.
• Be the subject matter expert, providing input on new ASC standards
• Support research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include additional bonuses/incentives.
