Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team and be a part of a company dedicated to making a positive impact through delicious and nutritious food offerings. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all operations functions related to Brothers International Food products. In this role, you’ll work closely with external and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction related to on-time delivery through logistics, contract manufacturing, supplier relations, facilitating shipment flow, etc. You will be a key provider of information and support regarding transportation options and inbound/outbound orders. We are seeking individuals who are passionate, driven, and ready to contribute to our collaborative team environment.


Essential Functions:

  • Manage the flow of information within the organization & provide support in all departments.
  • Developed internal systems and helps operate the company flow.
  • Execution of production planning and coordination of activities related to contract manufacturers.
  • Set up, organize, and maintain purchase orders & contracts. Maintain PO List & Close out file folders.
  • Address internal problems head-on and develop creative solutions to prevent delays and missed targets. Manage relations with vendors and customers.
  • Track Lot approvals to facilitate shipment flow.
  • Ensure on time delivery with delivery schedules for contracts and open orders.
  • Update internal customer requested shipment/open order logs.
  • Ensure the tracking of shipment details, locations, and ETAs while ensuring proper import, export and producer documentation is accurate and received.
  • Attend related conferences and participate in customer audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field with a minimum or 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the food & beverage industry.
  • Quality and Customer Service Orientation to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills both written and orally.
  • Ability to take initiative, follow up/follow through autonomously.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • Experience with domestic transportation terms and procedures, including freight terms, documentation, claims filing, load planning and shipment tender.
  • Experience with international terms and procedures, including INCOTERMS, ISF filing, Commercial Invoices, customs clearance, and Harmonized Tariff classification.
  • Experience in Production planning/execution, including Bills of Material, scheduling, and assignment of materials.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time as needed.
  • Ability to work permanently on-site in our Fort Lauderdale, Florida location.
