SUMMARY: The Corporate Paralegal will primarily serve as the point of contact for nondisclosure agreement requests and will perform diversified administrative duties for the Corporate Legal and Contracts teams including but not limited to written and verbal correspondence, meeting and calendar management, record management and retention (organizational conflicts of interest in particular), review and audit support on compliance programs as well as other related duties as required for team efficiency.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate as the point of contact for nondisclosure agreement requests
  • Manage the day-to-day administrative duties for the Legal and Contracts teams in alignment with our competency of teamwork
  • Organize files and databases
  • Maintain registrations and other corporate records for broad company utilization in alignment with our competency of organizational support
  • Proofreading and formatting legal documents, processes and procedures
  • Provide team reports as required; will use advanced knowledge in Excel to include advanced formulas, embedded graphs, and pivot tables, to provide data to Leadership in alignment with our competency of communications
  • Maintain Export screening process, records and technical library
  • Additional job duties as assigned

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years office administrative experience
  • Experience with contract management software (Ironclad preferred)
  • Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
  • Experience in aerospace industry preferred
  • Costpoint experience a plus
  • Preference given to candidates with demonstrated record of work at a start-up


Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.


Physical Requirements
  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
