We are seeking a Coil Receiving to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities.
Responsibilities:
- Operator overhead crane
- Perform all daily checks and safety checks.
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material.
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Log coil log and pull coil receiving check sheets.
- Complete checks with micrometer, tape measure, scales and hardness testing equipment
- Enter information in IFS system and notify steel buyer of any shortages.
- Assist in retrieving tool crib items from shipping.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to operator a forklift.
