Associate Veterinarian

I have thought long and hard trying to come up with a catchy, funny, creative job description to no avail. I have decided that I am not a writer! What I am, however, is an awesome veterinarian who has been successfully practicing for 26 years and still loves going to work every day! I have an amazing team of long term employees across 2 clinics, along with amazing clients who appreciate what we do for our community. I am looking for a full time mixed animal veterinarian to take on medical and surgical duties 4 days a week. Mentoring available, if needed. If not, I will leave you be! I have raised 4 kids, put 2 through college (so far), lived comfortably and have a comfortable retirement in place. My family has always come first. I do not work late nights or weekends. I still have a good 10-15 years in me but I am ready to share what I have learned with the next generation. If that is you, give me a call! Clinic is privately owned with amazing support team. Ideally 4 days a week- appointments, routine surgery, dentistry (preferred but not required), farm calls 1 day every 1-2 weeks (also preferred but not required). Currently office employs 1 FTE veterinarian but we are looking to expand! Two technicians per doctor during appointment hours, half hour appointments. Office has spacious waiting room, 3 exam rooms, large kennel, large treatment area, laser, central oxygen, digital x-rays(including dental), large surgical suite with cautery, ultrasound, dedicated doctor office and staff kitchen area. Several 24 hour emergency/referral facilities in close proximity with numerous specialists options available. Western PA boasts excellent weather with very little extremes- no hurricanes, wild fires, earth quakes, blizzards, tornadoes are rare. Beautiful state parks with hiking boating skiing and more.
