Director of Community Living Alternatives

Summary:
The Director of Community Living Alternatives will be responsible for overseeing the Host Family, Intermittent CILA, Home Based and In-Home Respite Programs.
Essential Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for oversight of I CILA Program including supervision of managers in this program, budgeting and operations.
- Responsible for oversight of Host Family Program including supervision of managers in this program, budgeting and operations.
- Responsible for meeting growth targets in Host Family and Intermittent CILA each year.
- Responsible for oversight of In-Home Respite Program including supervision of managers in this program, budgeting and operations.
- Responsible for oversight of the Home Based Program including supervision of managers in this program, budgeting and operations.
- Position may be required to work nights and weekends based on program needs.
- Position requires 24/7 on-call.
- Position requires access to current driver license, access to a reliable vehicle and ability to travel per the needs of the program.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises the following positions:
- Director of Family Support
- Host Family Coordinator
- Intermittent CILA Director
- Respite Program Director

Participate in on- going meetings and plans to develop and enhance the provision of community living alternatives to members with I/DD.
Represent Envision Unlimited at various community events and transition/recruitment fairs.
Visit locations and homes regularly to ensure that programs related to member services and staff performance are maintained
Direct the implementation of assigned programs to ensure established controls, accreditation standards, funding source compliance and agency rules and regulations are maintained. Assist with the formulation of Division policies and procedures
Keep abreast of changes in regulatory agency guidelines and licensing procedures.
Monitor member finances and accounts to ensure benefits and other entitlements are not jeopardized.
Hire, train and assist employees, establish performance standards, evaluate performance, enforce agency policies and procedures and maintain morale.
Perform other responsibilities, as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or Experience
- Master’s degree in Human Services field (preferred); plus 5 year’s experience
- Demonstrated effective leadership
- Ability to effectively manage multiple programs
