Gatewayย seeksย a skilled, organized, energetic, customer service-oriented and committed professional for a position as Team Lead in our Independent Living Program.ย ย Gateway's Independent Living Program is committed to helping teens in foster care launch into adulthood while becoming strong, connected and contributing members of our communities.ย 

The Independent Living Program ensures that Gateway continues to exceed national statistics helping foster youth graduate from school, get jobs and become strong young adults through teaching and coaching of ILP skills.ย ย The Independent Living Program Team Lead will also support a team of Independent Living Family and Child Specialists with the tools and training they need to provide the best services possible while providing services to their own caseload of ILP young adults.ย ย 

Bachelorโ€™s degree in social work,ย humanย servicesย or related field.ย Masterโ€™sย preferred.ย Licensure required atย highestย level of degree. Able to manage flexible workย scheduleย and be available onย 24/7 basis and will arrange coverage in his/her absence. Proficient with Electronic Health Record, email, Microsoft Office suite. Good written and verbal communication skills.ย Able to drive or transport self for extensive distances and periods of time to work with clients in Tuscaloosa and periodically work with staff in Huntsville as needed. Ability toย workย a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when needed. Able to respond to client crises promptly. Alabama Driverโ€™s License and driving record acceptable to agencyโ€™s insurer. Automobile insurance required byย agency.ย
