Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the bar operations at Ocean Place Resort and Spa. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, managing a diverse team, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the bar's profitability and overall guest satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff to ensure a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update beverage menus that reflect current trends, seasonal offerings, and guest preferences.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
• Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning.
• Act as a liaison between the bar department and other departments within the resort, fostering effective communication and cooperation to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, with a focus on bar operations.
• Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams to achieve and exceed performance targets.
• Strong knowledge of beverage trends, mixology techniques, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software applications.
• Valid ABC license for Long Branch, NJ.
