1st Shift Stamping Press Operator
Location: Bridgman, MI
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, with overtime as needed
Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour
Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual for 1st Shift Stamping Press Operator. This role will involve operating stamping presses to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Responsibilities:
- Press Operation: Set up and operate stamping presses to produce parts according to production requirements.
- Quality Control: Monitor production output and inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on stamping presses, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with stamping presses, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a stamping press operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Knowledge of stamping press operation techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Good work history and reliable transportation a must
