Overnight Manager on Duty

The position of the Overnight MOD is to safeguard property that belongs to the hotel, associates and guest. He/She will also oversee the safety and well-being of guests and associates. Perform continuous foot patrol of the entire property while maintaining constant communication with Front Desk. Responds to and investigates all hotel related accidents involving guests, associates, and vehicles/property. Acts as bellman during hours when no bellman is on duty. Assists guest in solving unusual problems as required. Report accidents, injuries, near misses, property damage, and/or loss.

- Stand and/or walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods

- Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with guests and co workers, i.e., provide information, answer questions, review maps, give directions, assist with problems and service recovery, etc.

- Required manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment

- Visually inspect public space for asymmetry, cleanliness and hazards

- Proficient with computers

- Be familiar with the hotel’s amenities and their hours of operation

- Work in an environment that is demanding and physical with fluctuating adverse temperatures.

- Frequent reaching, stretching, bending, stooping, walking, standing, handling, talking and smiling

- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on an individual basis, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds or collectively helping team members move larger loads than the weight limits listed above

- Possess a valid driver’s license and drive a shuttle van
