Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate to join our Compassionate team!

We are a medical office in Frisco, TX that provides medical and therapeutic services. You will work with a counselors who focus on individualized care, optimal functioning, and improvements in mental health, wellness, and overall patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy
• Develops therapeutic relationship with patients and significant others, and uses communication skills to engage them in treatment
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Creates a positive and productive work environment through organization, assessments, and feedback

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree required
• LPC-A in Texas
• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Experienced in working with adult, and/or child and adolescent population
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to develop mutual trust with patients
• Strong leadership skills
