Recruiter – Full Time

Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, Affirmative Action /EEO compliance, process FMLA/WC/and STD.

Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $64,000


Job Duties

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Assists Department Directors with developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Post job requisition that have been properly completed and signed off on by all applicable parties.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using ADP, databases, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications; Conduct phone screens at receipt of resume or upon hiring manager’s request.
  • Route appropriate candidates for hiring manager to review.
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Provide analytical recruiting reports as requested
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company's reputation as an employer of choice
  • Extend verbal offer, pending reference checks. Obtain references to include supervisory and co-worker.
  • Upon acceptance, prepare offer letter and obtained signed acceptance.
  • Complete and Background Checks and obtain Immunizations required to move to setting a Start Date.
  • For providers and others are applicable, collect Licenses, DEAs, BLS, and other required certifications and registration verifications, and verifications of education and training.
  • For licensed personnel, verify primary source
  • Register providers and licensed staff in the National Provider Data Bank continuous query
  • Upon completion, coordinate a start date with the hiring manager and book time with IT for Compliance and HIPAA training on the start date as well as time for HR onboarding paperwork and review of agency workplace policies.
  • Work with departmental hiring manager to develop an orientation schedule for the new hire.
  • Have the hiring manager register the new hire to attend the Agency Orientation Program as soon as possible.
  • Work with the Manager to assign an Employee Mentor for the new hire.
  • Active Member of one or more HR relevant GSCH committees.
  • Manage and maintain School contracts, DOL approval forms, Certificate of Insurances from the colleges and Student paperwork.
  • Seeks Continuous Learning opportunities. Attends webinars, local SRHA meetings, collaboration with other HR Professionals through email and committee activities.
  • Attends trainings and conferences when finances are available.
  • Supports HR department in other relevant areas not described above


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years’ experience as in an HR role. Strongly encouraged to seek SHRM Certification within 2 years of hire.
