Physician Assistant Needed For Thriving Primary Care Clinic! | Tulsa, OK

Pay : $100K-$130K, DOE

A new, innovative healthcare provider devoted to improving the lives of our senior members is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to join their team! • Employed position with above-market compensation that includes base salary and bonus (based upon quality metrics, not RVUs or volume)

Ideal candidates will be:

• Currently licensed to practice professional nursing or Physician Assistant in the state of employment, active and non-probationary
• Experienced in primary care: internal medicine, geriatrics, or family medicine
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Driven to and comfortable with managing a primarily Medicare-aged, medically underserved patient population with comorbid conditions
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Able to demonstrate interpersonal skills to be approachable and understandable to patients, families, and center team members
• Confident in their ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
• Passionate about their work and energized by being part of a fast growing organization
• Comfortable traveling within the market to multiple centers within short distance of each other
• Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses
• Diagnose or treat acute health care problems, such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
• Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances, such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies.
• Provide patients or caregivers with assistance in locating health care resources.
