SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for processing both internal and external customer orders in a fast paced environment utilizing RF Technology through SAP and Warehouse Management Software. Responsibilities includes order picking/kitting, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, receiving, unloading and loading of trailers, product put away and replenishments. This role requires the safe utilization of the following equipment: both sit down and stand up forklifts, order pickers, lift trucks, rider pallets, power pallet jacks and pallet inverters. Perform job duties within the established quality control guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Job functions in the warehouse may require associates to drive company vehicles on a routine basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accurately pick, kit and pack orders for Operations to meet requirements and specifications.
- Perform transactions with RF equipment that are timely and accurate.
- Lift and stack cases of product onto pallets and secure for shipment. Requires frequent lifting of 40 and up to 60 pounds.
- Accurately receives and stores materials according to facility specifications and cGMP requirements.
- Put away and transport materials using various powered material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Must be able to maintain focus and complete work. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. There is raw material dust in the warehouse.
