Construction Senior Project Manager

The Accent Group is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager.

Serving the tri-state area for over 35 years. The Accent Group has been specializing in roofing, siding, decking, and façade restoration services for residential and commercial properties in the tri-state area since 1979. Headquartered in Nutley, New Jersey, the Accent Group offers a wide range of construction services.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer you will help manage and offer guidance as an industry expert on several projects simultaneously including all areas of the Company which include siding, roofing, decks and facades.  You will be required to track and create change orders, material field measurements and project material lists.  Coordinate subcontractors on all preconstruction tasks.  Assist all onsite supervisors with expert clarification of issues and provide solutions.   Other tasks include expert assistance on: submittals, close out documents, client meetings, change orders and estimating for change orders, subcontractor invoice review/approval, additional unit cost invoicing, AIA preparation for accounting, and RFI’s

To qualify for this role, you must have:

·       A valid and clean driver’s license

·       5+ years of management experience in all construction areas including siding, roofing, decks and facades projects is required.

·       Strong understanding and implementation of construction best business practices as it relates to  areas of our business.

·       General understanding of waterproofing, flashing and all waterproofing products installation.

·       Ability to read Engineering blue prints and specifications

·       Ability to compile the materials list for various construction projects

·       Track and document all changes of a project

·       Manage and schedule teams for projects
