Corporate Controller

Exciting opportunity! Zing Recruiting is partnering with our client-a leading manufacturer in Troy, Michigan, in their search for a talented Corporate Controller to join their dynamic team. Corporate Controller Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee all global accounting and reporting activities, including Corporate Accounting, North American Shared Services, External Reporting, and Capital Accounting and Forecasting.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of worldwide consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Direct monthly global consolidations and drive process improvement initiatives for efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, including the financial reporting manual.
• Provide insightful account analyses to monitor financial risks and opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting and long-term planning processes.
• Coordinate external audits and lead the accounting team's development and mentorship.
• Collaborate with the CFO on special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA and/or MBA required.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in financial reporting and corporate accounting, including leading external audits.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in team management.
• Thorough understanding and application of US GAAP.
• Familiarity with OneStream consolidation software is a plus.
