Job Description
Carriage Mobile Homes, Inc is a manufactured housing community located in the heart of Sussex County, NJ. We are seeking a talented, motivated carpenter to do unit turn-overs on make-ready units.
The right candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience and expertise in the following areas:
- Planned demolition of structures
- Good math skills, including taking accurate measurements
- Planning and ordering materials in cooperation with Management
- Must be able to do data entry to track inventory and work progress
- Carpentry skills, including installation of countertop, fixtures, doors, windows, cabinets
- Experience with laying floors, including vinyl, linoleum, plank flooring and carpet
To be successful, the right candidate has the following qualities:
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Must own a smart phone to document photos of job progress
- Willingness to learn new techniques specific for the manufactured home industry
Truck and tools
Pre-Employment Screening Required
Part-time (2-3 days/week) to start; would consider hiring as a Subcontractor if candidate has COI with Liability and Worker's Comp insurance
