Pharmacist

PHARMACIST JOB SUMMARY:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Counseling patients and caregivers on medication use and potential side effects.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for LTC residents.
• Monitoring medication regimens and conducting regular medication reviews.
• Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations governing LTC pharmacy services.
• Providing clinical support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff.
• Managing medication distribution systems within LTC facilities.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and medication management strategies.

• Must be available Sun-Sat – 8p-7am; 7 on / 7 off
• Location: Onsite, closed door pharmacy in Cambridge

• The compensation for this role is: $60 per hour

PHARMACIST QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be licensed/registered as a Pharmacist in the State of MD
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D required
• At least 1 year of experience as an RPH, LTC Pharmacy experience preferred
