Job description

Company description
PHM is the leading health media agency in the US, built for the modern healthcare experience. Here, industry depth meets media scale, where data becomes direction, where creativity and storytelling bring truth to life, and where orchestration replaces fragmentation.
Dedicated to making brands discovered, PHM redefines what media can do through data, content, and creativity. Because in modern healthcare, the brands that are found are the ones that lead. And when brands lead, advantage follows. Go deeper. Be found.
Overview
As a key member of the Data Enablement team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and evolving high-impact data products, visualization solutions, automation initiatives, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities for internal and external stakeholders. You'll serve as a primary technical contributor for MCI (Datorama) on key pharmaceutical accounts while helping build the next generation of Data Enablement capabilities through automation, AI-enabled workflows, scalable data architecture, and modern reporting solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and building scalable solutions that improve how teams work. You'll partner closely with Business Intelligence, Engineering, and Media teams to translate complex data into actionable insights while continuously improving the team's capabilities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Own the day-to-day development and enhancement of MCI (Datorama) data products and reporting solutions for key pharmaceutical clients.
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data products, reporting solutions, automation workflows, and SQL- and Python-based data pipelines from ingestion through delivery, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Apply media taxonomy, metadata management, classification standards, and data harmonization best practices to improve reporting quality and consistency; support data governance, ETL optimization, and operational best practices across client workspaces.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate manual processes; explore and leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows and accelerate delivery.
  • Work within Agile methodologies using Jira to manage priorities and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications
What you bring:
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with MCI (Datorama).
  • Strong SQL and Python skills with experience building data pipelines, automation, and scalable reporting solutions; experience with large datasets and reusable data workflows. Databricks and/or Snowflake preferred.
  • Understanding of media taxonomy, metadata management, and classification strategies, or strong aptitude to learn these concepts quickly.
  • Interest in AI, intelligent automation, or emerging technologies, with curiosity to apply new tools to solve business problems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences; experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Systems-thinking mindset with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality data products.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn, improve processes, and take increasing ownership of technical solutions.

Preferred but not required:
  • Experience with taxonomy, classification systems, or data governance frameworks
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Datorama/MCI, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx
  • Experience working with media or marketing data (pharmaceutical experience is a plus, but not required)
