Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, Tasks (Outcomes) / Your Mission

  • Design Brilliance: Craft and manage our compensation systems, policies, and guidelines, ensuring they align with compensation trends and corporate objectives. Innovate incentive plans and recognition programs that motivate and retain our exceptional team members.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Guide leaders on pay decisions, policy interpretation, and job evaluations. Partner with leadership on re-organization requests and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Market Mastery: Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmark studies to refine our compensation packages, making recommendations for adjustments that keep us competitive and attractive.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions Champion: Play a crucial role in compensation-related activities during mergers and acquisitions, facilitating seamless integration and harmonization of compensation programs.
  • Tech Transformation: Enhance operations with your prowess in compensation systems and technology. Implement solutions that streamline processes and elevate data accuracy.
  • Staying Informed and Ensuring Adherence: Stay up-to-date with pertinent compensation-related laws, regulations, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Empowering Team Growth and Achievement: May lead and direct the work of other team members including, but not limited to, providing direction, coaching, development, and management of performance to company goals and expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources or related field required
  • Professional certification preferred such as:
    1. HRCI’s Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
    2. SHRM’s Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and/or,
    3. WorldatWork’s Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)

Prior Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in compensation management or related roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing compensation programs and strategies.

Special Qualifications:

  • Expertise in compensation principles, market analysis, and job evaluation methodologies
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing compensation practices
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid project management skills including attention to detail, highly organized
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, data analysis and compensation management tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Initiative and drive to continuously improve processes and systems
