Hourly: $19.06 - $22.20 DOE
**Incumbent eligible for a $500 signing bonus payable after 6 months of continuous service **

Position Overview: The Pallet Yard Technician is responsible for ensuring the pallet yard and recycling programs are complying, ensuring the area is maintained in a neat, clean manner, as well as loading and offloading shipments.
Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Amount of Travel Involved: None.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
- Properly document and load Recycling Trailers and Flatbed Trucks.
- Operation of Forklift, certification required.
- Properly document and unload inbound loads.
- Daily operation of Trash Compactor, Drum Dumper and Baler. Properly document product location movements.
- Cleaning of recycling equipment.
- Maintain proper GMP conditions in Recycling and Yard areas, including loading docks and warehouses.
- Notify Pallet Yard Supervisor of any discrepancies on incoming loads.
- Pallet ordering and pick up.
- Visually inspects pallet deliveries for damage, defects, and overall quality.
- Maintain roll off and dunnage trailer exchanges.
- Scheduling of drum and compactor pickups.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Three months related experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift Certification required.
- Warehouse experience in the Beverage industry preferred.
