Field Service Foreman

Position Summary:

We seek a highly motivated Field Service Foreman for our Service Company. The foreman supervisors single/multiple crews by providing excellent on-the-job direction to our contractors and other field personnel. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations at worksites to ensure that the daily tasks and associated work are completed safely and efficiently.

This position requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts and have open availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency responses, depending on current and future projects.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the general manager and project managers by providing feedback and assisting crews in regards to the performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures

• Responds to inquiries arising from solicitations by sales representatives, phone contacts, etc. by inspecting fan equipment, determining repair or replacement requirements, and making necessary adjustments and drawings

• Assist in shop duties, i.e., loading and unloading service trucks

• Drives mobile repair unit to the customer site

• Contacts various sources to secure temporary personnel to operate mobile unit equipment, as required

• Directs and assists hired personnel in operating mobile unit equipment in making fan repairs, if required

• Maintains and ensures proper maintenance of mobile equipment units and other company equipment and tools.

• Collects competitive product and service information as available.

• Prepares detailed service sales effort and expense information reports. Provides all pertinent information related to location, size, fan application and detail, sales potential, etc.

• Communicate with the customer and other site contacts in person and over email.

• Conduct work in a professional and presentable manner.

• Conduct all work safely and professionally.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar or related job, consistent managerial background

• Must have a solid mechanical aptitude, and have the ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, customer requests, and have a strong understanding of industrial estimations and jobs

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Reliable & punctual

• Basic Math skills to use mathematical techniques to calculate data or solve practical problems related to this position.

• Physical & mental ability to gather and interpret data related to specifications, customer and engineering requirements, manufacturing operations, etc.

• Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information.
