Acutronic is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the hardware engineering team for embedded software development. Our ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Software Engineer Intern

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of embedded software using C++ 2014 Language for 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with the hardware engineering team for embedded software development.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with company coding standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance existing products and develop new solutions.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and progress effectively with team members and supervisors.

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C++ programming language.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
