Service Supervisor Commercial Roofing
The Service Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Service and Preventative Maintenance department. This client facing role is the first point of contact for emergency service requests for our 100+ customers.This role Supervises and Dispatches five (5) roofing maintenance and repair crews.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Service Work Order Completion: The service manager will ensure that all service requests are completed in a timely manner and complete and submit all required service documentation for each service work order. The service manager is responsible for scheduling service visits and communicating with the customer on any coordination and updates.
Management of the Preventative Maintenance program:
oManaging contracts renewals and supporting new customer opportunities and reporting.
oScheduling Spring and Fall Inspections with customers
oEnsuring consistency and accuracy in the invoicing process
Crews Supervision and Scheduling
Key tasks in crew supervision are as follows:
oMorning check with the crew to ensure the schedule is running as planned.
oVerify images, materials, and notes are entered properly from the completed repairs.
oValidate the completion of the repairs, keep accurate job notes by reviewing the before and after pictures.
oVerify that the hours for each job are being tracked properly.
oRegular check-with in crews to address any delays or additional stops that can be added to the schedule.
oProvide daily schedules for crews each day that factor in customer urgency.
oCoordinate the crews start and end time with the warehouse staff.
Service Response Times
Safety Policy and Procedure: Support efforts to ensure safety policy and procedures are followed.
Customer Satisfaction
Experience:
3+ years experience in commercial roofing systems a plus
Previous experience in a scheduling or dispatching role for a service-based company
Must be well versed in commercial roofing
Language: English & Spanish speaking is a must (Bilingual)
General Technology: DataForma experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Must be able to work weekends and holidays in emergency situations.
