About the Role

The Eastern Field Supervisor leads a team of Site Operations Technicians supporting PrePass systems across the East Coast region. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, supporting technicians in the field, and ensuring PrePass technology is installed, maintained, and operating reliably.

This position combines leadership and hands-on technical support. The supervisor works closely with technicians, customers, and internal teams to coordinate daily operations, solve technical issues, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

The Site Operations team is highly experienced, collaborative, and team-oriented, with employee tenure ranging from approximately 3 to 27 years. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading within an established team culture while continuing to support employee development and operational excellence.

This role requires regular travel throughout the East Coast region, including field visits and on-site support for projects and service activities.

What You'll Do

Lead & Support the Field Team

  • Lead and support a team of six Site Operations Technicians.
  • Coordinate daily schedules, field assignments, and operational priorities.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Support employee development and maintain a positive team environment.
  • Promote accountability, professionalism, and safe work practices.

Manage Field Operations

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of PrePass systems and technologies.
  • Help technicians troubleshoot hardware, software, RF communications, and network-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance and help resolve operational problems quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure projects and service work are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance records.

Work with Customers & Internal Teams

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for technicians, customers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Coordinate field activities to support project timelines and customer needs.
  • Communicate operational updates and help resolve service-related concerns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Support Safety & Quality Standards

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct field visits and site oversight to monitor work quality and consistency.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, operations, and service delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in site operations, technical operations, RF communications systems, computer systems support, or related field services.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting hardware, software, networking, or RF communication systems.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and support remote field teams.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction management or highway construction management.
  • Knowledge of Weigh-in-Motion scale systems.
  • Background in electrical computer hardware, software, or related technical disciplines.
  • Experience working in transportation, roadside technology, or infrastructure environments.
